The Scenthesis division develops and produces fragrances and relevant special components; as a service complementary to that of supplying basic raw materials, through the Scenthesis division, Moellhausen puts its structures and know-how at the customer´s disposal for creating special products.
The assistance offered by the Scenthesis division synergically integrates the customer´s skills and industrial know-how. This assistance, in its fullest expression, materialises in the possibility for the customer to quickly and inexpensively obtain what he needs, without R&D and technological investments:

• Highly distinctive fragrances;
• Widely accepted fragrances available in quantities sufficient to cater for their anticipated diffusion;
• Fragrances with an organoleptic impact identical or similar to that of existing fragrances which must be replaced in order to cut costs, eliminate dependence upon ingredients that are hard to find, or to meet an increased demand for products;
• Ingredients and intermediate products compatible with special chemical matrices, ingredients with characteristics strictly standardised on the batches and with an optimised quality/price ratio with respect to their application.

Scenthesis specialities are widely used throughout the world, and contribute to the success of many perfumes, cosmetics, toiletries, soaps, detergents for hard surfaces and fabrics, softeners, room fresheners, candles, waxes and other products besides.

Scenthesis division develops fragrances for alcoholic and non alcohol perfumes, fragrances for cosmetics and toiletries, and also for fragrances soaps, hard surface and fabric detergents, fabric softeners, room deodorizers, candles, waxes, adhesives, plastics and numerous other products. Highly specialised personnel in the corporate laboratories are responsible for developing new fragrances and reformulating of existing fragrances to reduce production costs or use more easily available raw materials.
